Back in my early days as a producer I made this on Garageband of course. The melody of the chorus began life as part of one of my classical compositions and the words "All For One & One For All" kind of insinuated themselves in there one day. The song is imploring the human race to please wake up to the fact that united we all win together and divided we all lose together. It implores everyone to see beyond our many differences to the truth beyond the illusion of separation... that we are all really the same and deep down we want the same things. The song also acknowledges a darker theme which pervades our history. That those who know the secret and try to share it to empower their fellow brothers and sisters, very often come to a sticky and premature end. You'll see what I'm hinting at if you check out the music video on my YouTube channel.
The mood mixes melancholic nostalgia with hope and optimism. Kind of a weird mix, I know! I used piano, strings and some subtle synths for this one. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
